Friends & Family Christmas Fabric Wreath Workshops
Festive Wreath

This festive period is certainly going to be different to previous years but that doesn’t mean it still can’t be filled with creative fun and time with loved ones.

This year you can join my popular fabric wreath workshop from the comfort of your own homes with a private Christmas workshop for your friends and family. You will learn the skills needed to create your very own hand tied fabric wreath, using a variety of different fabrics, before adding the finishing touches with some Christmas baubles.

Christmas kits can either be sent directly to each person taking part in the workshop or all kits can be sent to one address for you to distribute. All the materials for the workshop will be enclosed in each kit and any additional equipment that is needed will be easily found within the home, I.e. a pair of scissors. Participants will then be given log in details for joining the Zoom workshop.

Through the 2 hour live Zoom workshop you will be given demonstrations as well as support with any specific questions or queries! This is the perfect way to be creative this Christmas, whilst catching up with friends and family.

The bonus of joining a workshop over zoom is that you can do it with friends and family that may live further away and despite any future changes in restrictions the workshop will still take place.

This workshop is £35.00 per person (minimum number of 5 people to take part) with a choice of Red/Green/White or Navy Blue/White/Gold wreath kit. If this sounds like something you would like to do then please do get in touch either via the contact form or via email: mail@agnissmallwood.co.uk

Business Christmas Fabric Wreath Workshops

This festive period is certainly going to be very different to previous years. It is also going to mean reimagining Christmas parties and thank you’s to employees.

How about joining with colleagues for a festive Christmas Wreath workshop via Zoom. You will learn the skills needed to create your very own hand tied fabric wreath, using a variety of different fabrics, before adding the finishing touches with some Christmas baubles.

Each participant would receive their own kit sent either directly to their front door or all the kits could be sent to one address for you to distribute. The kit includes everything you need for the workshop, apart from standard items found around the house, I.e. scissors. Participants will then be given log in details for joining the Zoom workshop. The bonus of planning the workshop over zoom is despite any future changes in restrictions the workshop will still be able to take place.

In this 2 hour workshop you will be given demonstrations as to how to complete your fabric tied wreath as well as plenty of opportunities to ask questions and have individual support. This workshop is perfect for everyone, no previous knowledge required just creative enthusiasm.

This workshop is £35.00 per person (minimum number of 5 people to take part) with a choice of Red/Green/White or Navy Blue/White/Gold wreath kit. If your business or department would like to have a creative Christmas workshop this year, then do get in touch either by filling in the contact form or emailing: mail@agnissmallwood.co.uk

UPDATE: Workshops in November 2020

Unfortunately in person workshops are currently suspended again due to the second lockdown in England.

If you were due to attend a workshop during this period, the venue that was hosting the workshop will be in contact with further details. Some workshops have been cancelled, some postponed and others are moving to Zoom to enable them to continue. Thank you for your patience whilst these changes are implemented. Agnis

Weaving on Looms at Sunny Bank Mills - Beginner's Weaving Course

A 5 week course for those who would like to explore and develop their weaving more. You may be a complete beginner or have done a peg loom weaving course or woven on a rigid heddle loom but are keen to develop your skills. Looms will already be set up and warped so there is plenty of time to concentrate on weaving! Each of the 6 looms will be set with a different pattern so that you can explore a different technique, (e.g. plain weave, twill) by rotating around.

You will spend the first three weeks exploring different weave patterns whilst learning about your loom.

The final two weeks will be dedicated to weaving your own final project, this could be a table runner, cushion cover or scarf for example. With support you will be guided as to how to achieve your designed outcome.

At the end of the course you will take home a range of samples, as well as one final finished item.
