Agnis Smallwood is a Sole Trader and data-controller. This privacy policy explains how I use any personal information that is collected about you.
What information do I collect about you?
If you contact me then I may have data such as your name, email address, phone number as well as an address should you buy a product or service from myself. Please note that when you make payments using PayPal (at a craft fair or on online via my shop at Folksy, or a bank transfer) all sensitive financial information is held securely by the processing companies, and they never share this with me. I may also have data if you have signed up voluntarily to receive my newsletter. Website usage information is collected using cookies.
Website
My website is created in WordPress and therefore there are a number of plug-ins that are used within the website. These include: Akismet Anti-Spam, Elementor, Elementor Pro, Meta Tag Manager, Starter Templates, WPForms Lite

The website provider I use, tsoHost, uses cookies. You can set your browser not to accept cookies and remove cookies from your browser. Certain functionality on the website may then be impaired. My online shop is with Folksy. If you use the ‘Contact’ feature via Folksy or make a purchase on Folksy I may have the following data: Customer’s name, postal address, email, username on Folksy as well as Recipient’s name and postal address (if applicable). How will I use your information?
I will use the data you have supplied me to respond to email/phone enquiries, and to process the order of a product or service from me. Information is stored securely and only used for the purpose intended. If you have opted to receive my newsletter then I will also contact you regarding what I am working on, upcoming workshops and where you can see me at different events. My newsletter is managed through MailChimp. The only circumstances in which I will share your data is in processing your order for a product or service, ie with a delivery company to fulfil an order; or complying with the law. If buying from me online, via Folksy, I will also have to comply with PayPals privacy policy. PayPal privacy policy can be found here: https://www.paypal.com/en/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full I will never pass on your information to third parties for the purpose of marketing.
Marketing
You will not be automatically added to my mailing list, a newsletter will only be sent out to you when you have opted in to receive this. Your email address and maybe also your name is stored. The newsletter contains information about projects I am working on, upcoming workshops and where you can see me at different events. You are able to stop receiving communications at any time. You can click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of all newsletters or email mail@agnissmallwood.co.uk and ask to be removed. Storing of your data
I will retain your details for as long as is necessary to complete an inquiry or transaction for goods or services and will ensure that the data is securely stored during that period. I retain personal data related to enquiries, or orders for products or services for six years. After this time I will delete your data from my records. Data may be stored on password protected devices.

I will keep my privacy policy under review and will place any updates on this page. This privacy policy was last updated on July 10th 2020. (Please note that as I am rebuilding my website currently therefore this privacy policy is being regularly updated due to the plug-ins and additions I am adding to my website.)
