Many of the workshops and projects I deliver are for individual organisations, schools or communities. However, here you can find all my public workshops that are open to everyone. I look forward to meeting you at one of them soon.

Loom Hire with Technician Support

Hire one of the dobby looms at Sunny Bank Mills to weave your own project. There will be a warp already on the looms, unless you ask otherwise or request a bespoke warp (for a fee). I will be available for a couple of hours each day to answer questions however participants are expected to have used the looms before and be independent. Booking information can be found here.

2 Day - Spinning and Table Loom Weaving Workshop Saturday 11th May 2024 10:30 - 16:30 and
Sunday 12th May 2024 10:15 - 16:00
The Ropewalk, Barton upon Humber, North Lincolnshire
This is a two day workshop. On the first day we will explore the museum at The Ropewalk before spinning our own yarns using drop spindles. We will then incorporate this yarn into our weaving on day two with additional commercial yarns. For more information as well as how to book, please visit here.
Intermediate Weaving Course

This course will take you through the process of setting up a loom through to weaving a final outcome. This course is designed for those who already have some weaving experience but would like to learn how to dress a loom so they can become an independent weaver. All information can be found here.

Christmas Festive Workshops 2024
Christmas workshops are always hugely popular every year. You might like to join in a workshop taking place at different venues across Yorkshire (dates to be announced in due course) or have your own private workshop with friends and family.
